Good Tuesday morning, my friends.
Do you long for a soul filled with peace? With satisfaction?
Me too. Join me in lifting this prayer today.
Amazing Grace and Eternal Satisfaction be yours!
Bruce
Lord, the world does not give my soul peace of mind:
I have wasted my money on that which does not feed my soul.
I have labored for that which does not satisfy.
I am never satisfied with my possessions.
My love of money is not satisfied with gain.
Nothing else satisfies me but you.
Lord, I hunger and thirst for righteousness: Please satisfy my soul's yearning.
You satisfy the one who is thirsty,
and the hungry you fill with good things.
You open your hand and satisfy every living thing.
You give power to the faint.
If I wait upon you, you will renew my strength.
I shall mount up with wings like an eagle.
I shall run and not be weary.
I shall walk and not faint.
O God, I seek you; my souls thirsts for you,
as in a dry and weary land where no water is.
My soul clings to you,
for your right hand upholds me.
As a deer longs for flowing streams,
so longs my soul for you, 0 God.
My soul thirsts for you, for the living God.
When shall I come and behold the face of God?
Then I will be satisfied.
I have wasted my money on that which does not feed my soul.
I have labored for that which does not satisfy.
I am never satisfied with my possessions.
My love of money is not satisfied with gain.
Nothing else satisfies me but you.
