Daily Prayer - For those who will believe

Good Friday morning, my friends.

After washing his disciples feet at the Last Supper, Jesus' prays for us:

"I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word,  that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.  The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,  I in them and you in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent me and loved them even as you loved me.  Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am, to see my glory that you have given me because you loved me before the foundation of the world.  O righteous Father, even though the world does not know you, I know you, and these know that you have sent me.  I made known to them your name, and I will continue to make it known, that the love with which you have loved me may be in them, and I in them." (John 18:20-26)

Let us similarly pray for those who will believe through our word, let us pray for unity, and let us pray for all to understand the depth of God's love.

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,
Bruce

We pray not only for ourselves but also for all who will believe in Jesus through our message.

We pray that we will all be one, just as the Father and the Son are one.

May we be in them together so that the world will believe that Jesus was sent from God.

May we glory in the Godhead and be one in headship, salvation and anointing.

We rejoice that Jesus is in us and we are in him.

May we experience such perfect unity that the world will know that the Father sent the Son.

May we understand together the depth and riches of the love of God.

Then the Father's love for the Son will be in us, and we will be in God.

Amen.
