Pray for the men

Good Friday afternoon, my friends.

I apologize for the lateness of this posting, but it is a very busy week.  Tonight and tomorrow Promise Keepers Canada is holding a Men's Conference at The Metropolitan Bible Church here in Ottawa, and next weekend at The Rock Church in Lower Sackville (Halifax), NS.  The theme of these conferences is: LEGACY - We are all leaving one, the question is will it be good ... bad ... or Godly?

Please join me in praying for the men who will come to these events that they (we) would have a powerful encounter with God Almighty, that He would humble them and break them and rebuild them.  Bringing men into a closer relationship with Christ is the highlight of our events and it is the prime motivator for staging these events.  It is why we do what we do.

Thank you for supporting us in prayer, and for those of you attending the event - I will see you there!

Almighty God, we lift up to you the men of this nation

We pray that you will perform a mighty work in them

Ignite them with a passion to follow your Son, Jesus Christ

Equip them with Your armor to do battle

Enable them to impact their families, churches, workplaces, communities, and nation in a way that brings You glory

We pray that you will anoint the speakers at these events with a powerful message from your Holy Word

Open the ears and hearts of the men to hear directly from you and to have an encounter with the Holy Spirit

Bless and protect all of our volunteers, and the families of all of the men who attend

May these men return to their families with a pure heart and a renewed and steadfast spirit

And may they become the men of God that you created them to be
