Daily Prayer

Good Thursday morning, my friends.

The last thing we want to do is to profane the name of the Lord by the way we live (see yesterday's message and Ezekiel 36:19-23).  Instead, we want those around us to see that God has created a permanent, positive change in us.  It is never too late for that change to happen, but we cannot do it by our own will – it has to come from God.  And it will only come from God if we ask for it (and truly want it!).

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Bruce

May all I do today
begin with you, O Lord.
Plant dreams and hopes
within my soul,
revive my tired spirit:
be with me today.

May all I do today
continue with your help, O Lord.
Be at my side
and walk with me:
Be my support today.

May all I do today
reach far and wide, O Lord.
My thoughts, my work, my life:
make them blessings
for your kingdom;
let them go beyond today,
O God
.
