Daily Prayer - Conquerors

Good Tuesday morning, my friends.

Paul writes:
"In all this we are more than conquerors
because of him who has loved us.
For I am certain that
neither death nor life,
neither angels nor principalities,
neither the present nor the future, nor powers,
neither height nor depth nor any other creature,
will be able to separate us from the love of God
that comes to us in Christ Jesus, our Lord."   Romans 8:37-39

Do you feel like a conqueror?  If you are like me somedays you do, somedays you don't.  How about today?  When we look at Jesus with the correct perspective (and ourselves with the correct perspective) then we have no option but to feel like conquerors!

Grace and peace be yours in abundance!
Bruce

Jesus, you have made us conquerors.

You conquered sin and death.
We follow in your footsteps.
You have freed us from worry and fear.
We trust completely in you.

You are our hope.
You are all that we need.
We call out to you this day.
Set us free, O Lord.
Give us the confidence to drive sin from our lives.

Help us to stand up for the truth.
We are surrounded by darkness.
Yes, we will win in the end.
Give us the strength to do your will now.
We thank you for the gift of eternal life.
We thank you for your grace to live a holy life.

We are yours.
We belong to you.
Bring us home.
We love you, O Lord.
We give you praise, O Lord.
You are so wonderful.
How awesome you are!

We thank you for your blessings on us.
We thank you for new life this spring.
Bring us all back to life.
Heal our hurts.
Help us to forgive.
Give us your joy.
Renew us, O Lord.

We ask this of you, Jesus.
You supply our every need.
Thanks.

Amen.
