Daily Prayer - Suffering

Good Monday morning, my friends.

I am overwhelmed by your prayers and messages.  I cannot thank you enough, but I praise God for the wonderful community He has built around me.  For the longest time I thought this ministry was about God doing something for you through me.  Little did I know that He was doing something for me through you!

After several days rest I am feeling a lot better today than last week.  The symptoms, however, have not completely left, so there may be more tough days ahead.  I trust that God still has a great plan for me and will take care of me and my family.

I am reminded that others here have their own trials they endure on a daily basis.  Today I want to offer up a prayer to those of you who are suffering in any way.  If that is you, please allow the rest of us to take your plight to the Throne Room of God today.

Grace and peace be yours in abundance,

Bruce

Jesus, I pray for people with unrelenting pain in their bodies—those who no longer get any relief from physical therapy or medication.

I pray for people with emotional and mental diseases—who live in the cruel world of delusional thinking and sabotaging emotions… and I pray for their families and care-givers.

I pray for the unconscionable number of children in the world who are suffering from hunger and malnutrition… and for their parents who feel both shame and helplessness.

Lord, these and many more stories of great suffering I bring before you…
